Design Engineer ( Belgium- Based * Dutch -speaking)

Zealogics Europe is looking for a Design Engineer (3-5 years experience) to join our R&D team working on electro-mechanical systems for industrial machinery. You will contribute to the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical submodules from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design of mechanical and electro-mechanical machine submodules
• 3D CAD modelling and assemblies (Autodesk Inventor and/or Siemens NX)
• Creation of technical drawings with GD&T and tolerancing
• Design for manufacturability, assembly and serviceability
• Concept Development and engineering analysis
• Collaboration with R&D, production and suppliers
• Support for prototyping and testing activities

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• 3-5 Years experience in machine design, R&D or mechanical engineering
• Strong experience with 3D CAD (Inventor, NX or similar)
• Knowledge of GD&T, mechanical design and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Experience in industrial machine design is a plus
• Structured, analytical and detail-oriented mindset
