Job description

The SAP Solution Design Consultant is responsible for designing and governing end-to-end SAP solutions that support business objectives, operational stability, and long-term scalability. This role serves as a technical leader for complex production support, solution architecture, and continuous improvement initiatives within a scaled Agile environment. Working closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and support organizations, the architect ensures solutions are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards., * Design and maintain end-to-end SAP solution architectures that support business processes and operational excellence.

  • Lead technical analysis and resolution of complex production issues, including defect triage, root cause analysis, and T3 sustainment support.
  • Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation approaches.
  • Support Agile Release Train (ART) activities, including PI Planning, architecture reviews, backlog refinement, system demos, and continuous improvement events.
  • Provide architectural guidance for enhancements, defect remediation, technical debt reduction, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Analyze integrations, interfaces, data flows, and system dependencies to identify risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure solution designs comply with enterprise standards for security, performance, reliability, maintainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and approve technical designs, architecture documentation, integration specifications, and key technical decisions.
  • Partner with DevSecOps, infrastructure, and support teams to improve monitoring, deployment processes, resiliency, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, support models, known error databases, and recovery procedures.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and drive sustainable architectural improvements.
  • Mentor developers, technical leads, and support teams on solution design best practices and supportability considerations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP solution architecture, application design, or technical leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, integrations, enterprise architecture principles, and system support models.
  • Experience supporting complex production environments, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, and cloud/hybrid architectures.
  • SAP certification or relevant architecture certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation, implementation, or sustainment programs.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, cloud platforms, and enterprise monitoring solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
