Senior Developer - EV Charging Platform

• Building: you develop backend services in Java 21+ running on Azure. From charging session to invoice: you build the logic that makes it all possible.
• Designing: you contribute to architectural decisions that matter. No ivory tower, but pragmatic choices that go live tomorrow.
• Taming data: thousands of charge points continuously send measurements. You work with NoSQL and time-series databases to reliably process and make sense of that data stream.
• Building the team: you mentor less experienced colleagues, conduct code reviews and raise the quality of the entire team.
• Improving: you spot opportunities and continuously make our platform and way of working a little bit better.

Do you have experience in NoSQL?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s level thinking and working ability (HBO+);

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer in the JVM ecosystem (Java and/or Kotlin);
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure;
• Experience with NoSQL databases and an understanding of what’s involved in handling large volumes of (time-series) data;
• You take ownership of what you do and say. Accountability is in your DNA;
• You want to grow and learn something new every day. A complex puzzle gives you energy;
• You communicate well in both Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of the OCPP protocol or experience in the energy sector is a plus., * Backend development (JVM): 5 years (Required)
• Cloud platforms (Azure): 3 years (Preferred)
• NoSQL / time-series databases: 3 years (Preferred)
