Job description

This is a business-critical leadership role where you will set the direction for IT strategy and drive meaningful, lasting change. Working at pace and with clear strategic intent, you will lead the evolution of our technology landscape, championing innovation, continuous improvement and modern ways of working.

Partnering closely with Senior Leaders and the Executive Board, you will play a pivotal role in shaping transformation across systems, culture and technology. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant shift, using your expertise and vision to build a future-ready IT function.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead the IT function with confidence and purpose, setting the direction while staying close to operational delivery. In addition, this role provides opportunity to:

  • Define and deliver a clear IT strategy, driving innovation across systems, infrastructure and security.
  • Work closely with the Executive Board to shape, propose and deliver technology solutions that support long-term growth, including AI and emerging technologies.
  • Set the architectural vision for the organisation and play a central role in modernising our technology landscape.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high performance, reliability and security across all platforms.
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers, managing vendors and negotiating SLAs to deliver value.
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, ensuring business wide resilience.
  • Inspire and develop your team, creating a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Leadership?, * A degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Significant experience in IT leadership and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise across IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cloud platforms and cybersecurity
  • A proven track record of shaping and delivering IT strategy in a complex environment.
  • Confidence and credibility to influence at an Executive level.
