Job description
As an Assistant Data Analyst, you will play an important role in our performance management framework. You will take lead responsibility for collecting, tracking, and reporting on vital operational and financial metrics, ensuring that social care outcomes and cost-avoidance benefits are accurately reported. Beyond routine reporting, you will maintain and update interactive dashboards (using tools like Qlik or Looker Studio) to provide senior leadership with a clear view of departmental trends. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver, identifying data discrepancies, suggesting process improvements, and empowering staff through the development of self-service reporting tools.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and have experience using Business Intelligence tools (such as Qlik or PowerBI) to process and visualise data. You will have a proven track record of producing high-quality analysis that supports decision-making, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail to ensure complex financial and performance calculations are 100% accurate. An experience in an Adult Social Care or health setting would be desirable including the use of relational databases such as Mosaic.
