Job description

The Tier 3 Technology Technician serves as the district’s senior technical support specialist, providing expert-level troubleshooting, infrastructure management, and project leadership. This position is responsible for maintaining critical technology systems, including servers, storage platforms, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications. The Tier 3 Technician resolves complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff, leads major technology initiatives, and develops long-term solutions that enhance system reliability, security, and performance across the district.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Enterprise software?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Extensive experience managing enterprise servers, storage systems, networking, and infrastructure technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and network administration.
  • Experience leading technology projects and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTIA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training
  • Experience in K-12 education technology environments preferred.
