Job description

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Enterprise SolutionsModernization Lead to drive the planning, prioritization, and execution of enterprise IT initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes. This role serves as a trusted advisor to Federal stakeholders, shaping investment decisions and leading modernization efforts across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and enterprise operations.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong operational leadership and business acumen. This individual will be responsible for designing forward-looking solutions, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring that enterprise investments deliver the highest-value outcomes within cost, schedule, and performance constraints., Enterprise StrategyModernization:

  • Partner with business and Federal stakeholders to understand mission requirements, operational objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Define, shape, and lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Evaluate competing demands and guide stakeholders in prioritizing initiatives based on business value, mission impact, risk reduction, and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct technology assessments and recommend best-fit technologies, frameworks, and tools to support future growth and innovation.
  • Develop modernization roadmaps for infrastructure, applications, and enterprise services.

Solution ArchitectureDesign:

  • Design scalable, secure, and efficient end-to-end solutions that align with business requirements and technology standards.
  • Architect and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve performance, resilience, and user experience.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Operations Leadership:

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and direct tuning efforts to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Guide disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Participate in lifecycle planning, technology refreshes, and system upgrades.

Stakeholder ManagementLeadership:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Federal leadership, influencing technology investment decisions and modernization priorities.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business impacts for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering, operations, and program teams.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of enterprise initiatives.

GovernanceDocumentation:

  • Ensure creation and maintenance of technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Promote adherence to enterprise standards, governance processes, and operational best practices.
  • Implement and oversee security measures to safeguard systems and organizational data.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project stakeholder communication?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • This position requires working onsite in Washington D.C., 5 days per week, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree OR additional technical certifications also required.
  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise IT operations, modernization initiatives, or large-scale technology programs.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Security +
  • Proven success delivering enterprise initiatives and providing exceptional customer support in Federal or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IT operations and maintenance methodologies.
  • Proficiency across multiple IT disciplines, including:
  • Cloud and data services
  • Network services
  • Infrastructure and virtualization
  • Enterprise applications
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, cloud migration strategies, and modernization methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, systems integration, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide technology investment decisions.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong project and organizational management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., * Experience supporting Federal customers and mission-critical enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience developing business cases and cost-benefit analyses for technology investments.
