Senior IT Project Manager - C&I Gas & Power Retail Systems - 19588

The Senior IT Project Manager - C&I Gas & Power Retail Systems is accountable for end-to-end delivery of complex IT initiatives supporting a Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy retail business. This role owns planning, execution, risk management, and delivery outcomes for projects spanning C&I billing, pricing, sales, and supporting retail platforms.

Core Responsibilities

1. IT Project Management & Delivery Ownership * Own full lifecycle project management for C&I power and gas IT initiatives, from intake and planning through execution, go-live, and stabilization * Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, dependency maps, and cutover strategies * Drive day-to-day execution, proactively managing scope, timeline, cost, and delivery risks * Lead project status reporting, escalation, and decision tracking with clear accountability for outcomes

2. C&I Billing Systems - Senior Project Leadership * Serve as primary IT Project Manager for a major C&I gas and power billing initiative to consolidate six disparate billing systems brought in through acquisition into a single billing platform to be used by the entire C&I business. * Lead testing strategy and execution (SIT, UAT, parallel billing, mock cutovers) * Own go-live readiness, production release coordination, and post-implementation stabilization

3. C&I Pricing Systems & Deal Enablement * Manage delivery of IT projects supporting pricing engines, pricing governance workflows, and deal structuring tools * Coordinate requirements across Sales, Risk, Finance, and Operations to ensure pricing solutions meet business needs * Ensure pricing platforms integrate cleanly with CRM, quoting, contracting, and billing systems * Own release planning and change execution related to pricing model updates and enhancements

4. C&I Sales, CRM, and Lead-to-Contract Enablement * Lead IT delivery for sales-facing systems, including CRM, quoting, proposal generation, and contract workflows * Manage projects that span the lead-to-contract and contract-to-bill lifecycle * Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions support broker, direct, and strategic sales channels * Drive adoption and operational readiness for new sales and automation capabilities

5. Financial & Execution Governance * Own project-level financial tracking, ensuring work aligns to approved business cases, budgets, and WBS structures * Partner with Finance to manage capitalization decisions, forecasting, and variance explanations * Ensure projects are audit-ready, well-documented, and aligned to governance expectations * Maintain clear traceability between approved scope, funding, and delivered outcomes

6. Business Engagement & Cross-Functional Leadership * Act as the IT execution lead working directly with C&I business leaders and IT leadership * Translate business objectives into executable delivery plans and technical outcomes * Provide clear, concise, and actionable updates to stakeholders and leadership * Drive alignment across IT, business, finance, and operations to remove blockers and enable delivery

Do you have experience in IT project management?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT project management with increasing delivery ownership
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise system implementations or transformations
• Experience supporting billing, pricing, sales, or financial systems in a complex business environment
• Strong working knowledge of project financials, WBS structures, and IT governance

Preferred Experience

• Experience in energy retail, utilities, or regulated industries
• Exposure to C&I Gas and Power retail business models
• Experience managing projects with multiple systems, vendors, and integrations
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery approaches
