Job description
This is a Oxfordshire Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on Implementing and supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions., * Implement and support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
- Integrate IGA platforms with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and other enterprise systems.
- Configure and manage identity lifecycle processes including Joiners, Movers and Leavers (JML).
- Design and maintain access request workflows and approval processes.
- Support access certification, recertification and attestation campaigns.
- Develop and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and entitlement structures.
- Configure and support application connectors and identity integrations.
- Troubleshoot provisioning, synchronisation and access-related issues.
- Support hybrid identity environments involving Active Directory, LDAP and cloud identity platforms.
- Produce technical documentation, process documentation and operational runbooks.
- Work closely with security, infrastructure and business teams to ensure effective access governance and compliance.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, One Identity or similar.
- Experience integrating IGA platforms with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Experience connecting authoritative sources such as HR systems and databases to identity platforms.
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and JML automation.
- Experience building access request and approval workflows.
- Knowledge of access certification, recertification and attestation processes.
- Experience with RBAC, role modelling and entitlement management.
- Experience configuring application connectors and integrations.
- Understanding of authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SCIM.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and hybrid identity environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls and access risk management.
- PowerShell or Python Scripting experience.
- API integration and web services experience.
- Familiarity with ITSM processes and change management.
- Experience working within regulated, public sector or critical infrastructure environments.
- Relevant IAM, IGA or Microsoft identity certifications.
