AEC Solutions Architect

This is a unique opportunity to become the first hire into this Solution Architect position, playing a pivotal role in shaping both the customer engagement strategy and operational delivery model across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, product, engineering, and commercial teams to help enterprise AEC clients adopt AI-enabled workflows, operational systems, and next-generation technology solutions., * Lead discovery sessions with senior stakeholders across architecture, engineering, contractor, and developer organisations

• Analyse operational workflows, compliance processes, BIM coordination, and knowledge management systems
• Translate customer requirements into scalable AI-enabled operational solutions
• Design workflows, integrations, and knowledge structures tailored to enterprise AEC clients
• Support strategic customer programmes, roadmap planning, and solution implementation
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, commercial, and delivery teams
• Help shape internal methodologies, customer engagement frameworks, and operational best practices as the first person in this role
• Act as a trusted industry expert throughout customer engagements

Do you have experience in Machine learning?, * 7+ years’ experience within a major AEC consultancy, contractor, or related organisation

• Strong understanding of architecture, engineering, construction, or infrastructure workflows
• Experience working across complex Tier 1 client engagements
• Knowledge of BIM, digital construction, computational design, or technology-led initiatives within AEC
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment
• Ability to engage both technical and executive-level stakeholders

Desirable Experience

• Experience with AI, automation, or machine learning technologies within AEC
• Exposure to enterprise software implementation or consulting environments
• Experience with workflow automation or AI-native tooling
• Chartered status within a relevant professional body
• Industry thought leadership or conference speaking experience
