Job description

Design, implement, and optimize robust data ingress and egress pathways.
Leverage a suite of technologies including Dataflow, Apache Spark, Linux, Bash, Python, and Java for data pipeline development.
Manage and process large-scale distributed Big Data, encompassing SQL technologies and advanced data wrangling techniques.
Utilize modern source control practices with Git.
Desired experience includes High Performance Computing (HPC) job scheduling and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data ingress and egress solutions.
Implement and optimize data processing pipelines using Dataflow and Apache Spark.
Develop and maintain scripts and applications in Linux, Bash, Python, and Java environments.
Manage and administer SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Perform efficient data wrangling, transformation, and storage using Parquet format.
Implement and enforce source code control best practices using Git.
Apply expertise in distributed Big Data processing.
(Desired) Schedule and manage High Performance Computing (HPC) jobs with Slurm.
(Desired) Collaborate effectively using Atlassian tools such as JIRA for task tracking and Confluence for documentation.
