Technical Architect

We’re supporting a large-scale digital transformation programme for a highly regulated international organisation undergoing significant technology change following a recent business integration. This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering the final stages of a complex workplace and identity transformation programme. You’ll operate across solution design, stakeholder engagement, and architectural governance, working closely with senior technology leadership and delivery teams. The RoleYou’ll lead architecture activities across several ongoing workstreams focused on workplace modernisation, identity consolidation, SaaS migration, and end-user technology transformation.The role sits between enterprise architecture and delivery, requiring someone comfortable operating strategically while remaining close to execution and technical decision-making. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn solution architecture across remaining workplace transformation activitiesLead design discussions and architectural decision-making across multiple workstreamsSupport identity and access management consolidation initiativesDefine integration approaches across cloud and SaaS platformsProvide architecture governance and design authority oversightWork closely with senior stakeholders to communicate technical direction and business impactCoordinate with delivery, infrastructure, applications, and security teams

Required ExperienceProven experience as a Senior Solution Architect or Modern Workplace ArchitectStrong background delivering digital workplace or modern workplace transformation programmesExpertise across Microsoft identity technologies including Entra ID / IAMExperience designing M365 integration solutionsStrong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership levelExperience operating within regulated environments such as financial services, insurance, or bankingStrong delivery focus with experience coordinating across multiple technical teams Desirable ExperienceIdentity consolidation or separation programmesWorkday integrations and SSO designVirtual desktop or Citrix migration programmesConsultancy or enterprise transformation backgroundExperience working within merger, acquisition, or separation programmesBroad architecture exposure across multiple vendors and technologies Contract DetailsInitial 3-month contract with strong extension potentialPredominantly remote workingOccasional European travel may be requiredInside IR35Competitive day rate availableIf you’re interested in hearing more, please apply with your latest CV for a confidential discussion.
