SAP Basis Architect

As a pivotal member of our IT infrastructure team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust SAP environments aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies., * Design and architect scalable SAP Basis solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT systems and adherence to enterprise standards.

• Manage the installation, configuration, and upgrade of SAP systems across diverse operating environments including Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Oversee system administration tasks such as performance tuning, patch management, and capacity planning to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Implement and monitor security protocols including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), firewalls, VPNs, and information security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Collaborate on solution architecture involving Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, RESTful APIs, and system design principles for optimal system interoperability.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Shell Scripting for automation of routine tasks and deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git.
• Support virtualization and containerization technologies like VMware and Kubernetes to enhance system flexibility and resource utilization.
• Engage in systems engineering activities including load balancing with tools like HAProxy or F5 networks, DNS management, DHCP configuration, and network security practices.
• Contribute to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes by integrating DevOps practices for continuous improvement in deployment efficiency.

• Extensive experience with SAP Basis administration including system installation, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of system architecture principles across operating systems such as Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL), Windows Server, and UNIX environments.
• Proficiency in database management systems including Oracle, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure for deploying scalable SAP solutions in hybrid or fully cloud environments.
• Familiarity with solution architecture concepts involving RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and system design best practices.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware), container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), version control (Git), scripting languages (Bash, Python), and automation frameworks.
• Expertise in network security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, DNS management, DHCP configuration, RBAC policies, and information security standards.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies combined with Agile practices to foster continuous delivery and rapid iteration cycles.
• Ability to analyze complex IT systems using tools for load balancing, system monitoring, troubleshooting network issues like DNS or DHCP conflicts.
