Senior Network Installation Technician

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Network Installation Technician to organize and direct network installations, assess site network configurations, design and optimize network topologies, and coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support., * Organize and direct network installations and site surveys

• Assess and document site network configuration
• Gather and document user requirements
• Design and optimize network topologies
• Direct preparation of engineering plans and Technical Design Packages
• Develop installation schedules and mobilize installation team
• Direct preparation of configuration change drawings
• Prepare site installation and test reports
• Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support

• BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline
• 5 years of experience in network installation
• Experience organizing and directing network installations
• Knowledge of network topology design and optimization
• Experience with engineering plans and Technical Design Packages
• Ability to coordinate installation teams and post-installation support

How you will wow us:

• Prior experience with DoD, DISA, or DES network installations
• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance strongly preferred
• Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA
• Experience directing large-scale installations in defense facilities
• Familiarity with DoD network standards and security requirements
• Background coordinating installations in classified environments
