Job description

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring timely material flow between the warehouse and manufacturing floor. This position supports production operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials, components, and finished goods while adhering to company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency., * Coordinates with inventory and warehouse personnel to ensure that adequate inventory levels are present

  • Proactively monitor stock levels and flag gaps or issues to prevent operational impacts
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production schedules on the manufacturing floor
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of materials in warehouse and production area
  • Support production teams by ensuring timely replenishment of materials.
  • Uphold safety and organizational standards in every work area by following site guidelines, SOPs and work instructions
  • Use inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) to track and update stock movements
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners
  • This position will require the candidate to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of Inventory Control experience (including cycle counts, physical inventories, transfer of inventory, shelf management) preferred
  • Strong computer skills (including Microsoft 365 applications - Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Willing to work OT and weekends when needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems (IFS, Oracle, SAP) a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, While performing the duties of this job, frequently will be required to stand for extended periods, use hands/fingers repetitively, handle or feel objects, tools, or and talk or hear. Also, occasionally will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include some close vision. Good hand-eye coordination.
