Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior IT Systems Manager - Cloud, Data & AI Infrastructure to lead our organization’s IT infrastructure initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based systems, data platforms, and AI infrastructure. You will drive technological excellence by managing complex IT environments, ensuring security, scalability, and operational efficiency while supporting our business growth., * Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to support scalable enterprise solutions.
- Oversee virtualization environments including VMware and vSphere to optimize server and storage resources.
- Manage on-premises and cloud-based database systems like Microsoft SQL Server and Linux databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco routers, LAN/WAN configurations, firewalls, and remote access software to ensure secure connectivity.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, business continuity strategies, and IT security protocols to safeguard organizational data.
- Supervise a team of IT professionals providing technical support across systems engineering, network engineering, desktop support, and cybersecurity.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and consulting to ensure optimal service delivery aligned with IT governance standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, * Proven experience in managing cloud environments such as AWS and Azure with a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles.
- Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere.
- Strong background in database management with Microsoft SQL Server and Linux-based databases.
- Hands-on experience with network support including Cisco routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN infrastructure, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security measures.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for IT service management and governance practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in complex IT environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects using tools like Jira or ServiceNow effectively.
- Knowledge of software development processes, SharePoint administration, SolarWinds monitoring tools, Active Directory management, and disaster recovery planning is highly desirable.
