Senior Systems Engineer

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and act as the technical bridge between multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, optical, electrical, software), ensuring that complex systems meet performance, reliability, and customer requirements., * Commercial - Provide rapid feedback to sales team with system costings, technical details and technical proposals, enabling the sales team to rapidly respond to enquiries and tenders.

• Systems Engineering & Integration - Own the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle for systems, from concept through to deployment.
• Requirements & Verification - Capture, analyse, and manage customer and stakeholder requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Project & Product Development - Support new product development and continuous improvement of existing systems.

• An attitude and aptitude to support the commercial success of the business area.
• Degree in Engineering or Physics - Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Optical Engineering
• Hands-on experience of micromachining
• Knowledge of optics, motion systems, software or laser interactions
• Understanding of:
• System architecture and integration
• Control systems and automation
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system-level technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and with customers.
• Right to work in the UK
