A.I. Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and analytics solutions within a highly governed environment. This role focuses on building scalable, compliant, and production-ready AI capabilities while ensuring strong governance, auditability, and alignment with enterprise standards. This is a highly technical, hands-on position requiring expertise across AI/ML engineering, cloud platforms, data analytics, and modern software development practices., Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven analytics solutions in mission-critical environments Build workflows to analyze, flag, and summarize large datasets using advanced AI techniques Implement and maintain AI and analytic governance frameworks to ensure models and data are compliant and auditable Integrate AI capabilities using modern APIs (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) Develop intuitive user interfaces using React, AWS Amplify, or similar front-end technologies Leverage cloud-native platforms for model development and deployment (e.g., AWS SageMaker, EKS, containerized environments) Work within analytic development environments to build and operationalize AI solutions Develop and optimize data pipelines and analytics workflows using Python and distributed processing tools Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment Maintain version control, model management, and code repositories using Git, GitLab, Hugging Face, or similar tools Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready across governed environments

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java Experience with PySpark, Jupyter Notebooks, and distributed data processing Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with Elasticsearch and data analytics platforms Experience working with modern AI/ML tools and workflows Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI services (AWS-based tools preferred) Experience developing and deploying solutions in highly controlled or governed environments Strong background in version control and collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence), Experience implementing AI governance and analytic governance frameworks Familiarity with large-scale data analytics and query-time processing systems Experience integrating AI into operational workflows and decision-support systems Exposure to advanced data exploration and analytic environments Experience working with emerging AI platforms and model repositories Ability to work across data engineering, AI/ML, and software development domains
