Job description

  • Supporting Senior Technicians, Engineers, and NISC IaaS SDMs in all activities related to the design, engineering, implementation, operation, and integration of Infrastructure Hosting Services;
  • Monitoring and performing daily physical checks of data center hardware and other equipment;
  • Performing troubleshooting activities in the data center, identifying issues, and assisting in their timely resolution while maintaining proper records of work operations and events.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Master of Science (MSc) degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related subject with at least 5 years of post-related experience OR Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related subject with at least 7 years of post-related experience;

  • Practical experience with SAN/NAS network fundamentals (TCP/IP, FC, FCoE, iSCSI, WWN, WWNP, LIFs) and SAN, unified, and NAS storage systems;
  • Practical experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux (Red Hat).

Desirable:

  • Training and industry certification on virtualization e.g. VCP;
  • CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network, or CCNA certification;
  • DataCenter certification.
