Job description

Are you ready to take ownership of complex solution design and turn ambitious ideas into technically sound realities? We are hiring a Solution Architect to strengthen our capability in designing and delivering robust, enterprise-grade solutions as our customer base continues to grow. As demand for complex customer solutions continues to grow, we are expanding our expertise in corporate and enterprise IT systems with the addition of a Solution Architect. With more customers coming on board, solution designs are becoming increasingly varied and complex, requiring a dedicated expert to ensure they are both technically sound and scalable. You’ll operate across both pre-sales and post-sales phases. During pre-sales, you’ll support the sales team in shaping viable, high-quality solutions for customers. Post-sale, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that what has been sold can be successfully delivered, guiding projects from a technical perspective and mitigating risks early. A key part of your role is to act as a bridge between customers, sales, delivery and development, feeding insights back into the product and development lifecycle, preventing potential issues before they arise and steering projects in the right technical direction. Ultimately, this role is about ensuring we deliver the right solutions, the right way, reducing risk, improving quality and enabling successful customer outcomes. What you will do

  • Review and oversee outstanding technical work to ensure quality and progress
  • Collaborate closely with Platform Engineers to align on solution design and delivery
  • Evaluate and validate technical designs to ensure feasibility and scalability
  • Participate in customer meetings, including weekly stand-ups, to provide technical guidance
  • Support pre-sales activities, including contributing to tenders and solution proposals
  • Work directly with technical stakeholders to shape and refine solutions
  • Handle technical escalations and provide clear, effective resolutions
  • Provide oversight across projects, ensuring alignment between what is sold and what is delivered

Key Areas of Impact

  • Guiding customers who have predefined expectations before fully understanding the product
  • Steering customers toward the most effective and feasible solution
  • Navigating complex stakeholder environments across sales, delivery and technical teams
  • Balancing pre-sales demands with delivery oversight and technical governance

What success looks like

  • Pre-sales teams are equipped with clear, accurate and timely technical solutions
  • Strong turnaround times on pre-sales support without compromising quality
  • Proactive identification of risks and constraints before they impact delivery
  • Engagement with existing clients through meaningful contribution across projects and initiatives
  • Continuous value-add beyond core responsibilities, supporting teams where needed
  • Active contribution to product and development improvements by raising gaps or limitations early
  • Ensuring all delivered solutions are technically sound, scalable and aligned with customer needs

Our Team Culture We’re a team that values curiosity, adaptability, and shared success. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy working in an environment that is:

  • Adventurous - We encourage new ideas and bold thinking, always looking for better ways to solve complex problems
  • Agile - We adapt quickly to change, embracing flexibility and continuously improving how we work
  • Collaborative - We work closely across teams, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve the best outcomes
  • Passionate - We take pride in what we do, going the extra mile to deliver meaningful results for our customers

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Solution Architecture within hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud)
  • Strong understanding of networking principles
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS solutions, ideally with knowledge of IAM (Identity & Access Management) principles
  • Background working within a software development environment, preferably Agile
  • Ability to operate in both technical and customer-facing contexts

Professional Experience

  • Strong experience in a relevant role (e.g. Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Developer, or Cloud Architect), with a track record of delivering complex solutions

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business teams
  • Highly effective technical writing skills, including creating specifications and supporting pre-sales documentation

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Additionally, German is highly desirable
