Design and Release Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Design and Release Engineer to lead the development, validation, and release of innovative mechanical systems and components. In this role, you will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet rigorous quality standards, adhere to industry codes, and align with project timelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product lifecycle stages from concept through production, fostering innovation and excellence at every step., * Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, ensuring compliance with GD&T standards and ASME codes.

• Create comprehensive schematics and system diagrams to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis on design issues or failures, implementing corrective actions to optimize product performance.
• Manage project scheduling to meet development milestones while coordinating with manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate mechanical integrity under operational conditions.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on system design involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, and LabVIEW programming.
• Oversee prototype testing using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, CNC machines, and mechanical testing equipment to validate design concepts.
• Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards and best practices in mechanical engineering.
• Support manufacturing by providing drafting, technical documentation, and schematics for production readiness.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing manufacturing feedback and implementing design modifications for enhanced durability and manufacturability.

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks and Creo for mechanical design and drafting.

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, system design, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with project scheduling tools to manage multiple concurrent development projects effectively.
• Expertise in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot design or production issues promptly.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, and FEA software for system integration and simulation tasks.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels, piping, or mechanical components.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing schematics creation, mechanical design validation, and system troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation accurately.
• Experience working with CNC machining centers or other manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and manufacturing teams.
