Job description
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity considerations. This role may also be eligible for bonus, company variable compensation and equity program.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Propose and implement solutions for long-term IT project work (e.g. software transitions, implementation of new IT software and processes, etc.)
- Review hardware fixes and coordinate hardware and software purchases.
- Identify best-in-class machines for targeted price point and functionality.
- Manage all new hire credentialing for new employees.
- Set up and manage internal support and service including system ownership.
- Lead configuration and management of IT software for a distributed workforce (MDM, RMM, antivirus, VPN, etc.)
- Test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether the product will aid users in performing work.
- Create user-training manuals and procedures to help increase the efficiency of the employee onboarding and off boarding processes.
- Train employees on software and hardware.
- Provide IT help desk support for Transfr staff., Hands-on senior IT systems administrator responsible for administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, endpoint and MDM support across ChromeOS/Windows/macOS, SaaS administration, help desk support, and executing compliance controls (CMMC/NIST800-171/ISO27001/SOC2). Uses AI tools to automate IT workflows, supports engineering teams’ toolchains, and assists in audit readiness and evidence collection. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will own the administration, optimization, and support of Transfr’s IT environment, including endpoint management, employee onboarding and off boarding, hardware procurement, software administration, and help desk operations.
This role is pivotal in helping scale our technology operations while ensuring employees have the tools and support they need to be successful. You will have a direct impact by helping us take our current processes, operational framework, and IT practices to the next level, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment as the primary point of contact for internal software and hardware support., * 4+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or a similar role and with a minimum of 2+ years of managing projects independently
- Experience supporting both Mac and Windows devices.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite).
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Experience with MDM, RMM, endpoint security, VPN, and device management tools.
- Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Startup or high-growth company experience.
