Job description

  • Furthermore, you help develop a parameterizable model for fitting real-world data to improve predictability.
  • In addition, you contribute to investigating and simulating process steps, including delays in data transmission.
  • Moreover, you assist in identifying factors influencing data loss and delays, such as trigger configurations and vehicle fleet characteristics.
  • Additionally, you explore event-driven simulation methods for the large data upload process.
  • You evaluate control strategies, comparing regulation versus steering approaches for process optimization.
  • You collaborate with experts in autonomous driving and data analytics to implement innovative solutions impacting BMW’s autonomous driving data infrastructure.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Python?, * Studies in data science, machine learning, control systems, computer science or related fields.

  • Strong interest in autonomous driving and data-driven process optimization.
  • Knowledge of simulation techniques, preferably event-driven simulation approaches.
  • Understanding of time delay systems and process control concepts.
  • Programming skills in Python, MATLAB or similar tools for data analysis and modeling tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate results clearly to technical stakeholders.
  • Good German and English skills.
