Job description

Are you a Senior Developer looking to build modern, cloud-native applications that impact global operations? We are seeking a self-driven Senior Full Stack Application Developer to drive the large-scale Agile development of a next-generation medical supply chain and logistics suite.

In this role, you will be a key pillar of our Agile DevOps team, modernizing a global platform by building supply-chain functionality (front-end and back-end microservices) within an AWS cloud environment. You will actively collaborate with functional experts to build, deploy, and sustain applications via a fully automated CI/CD pipeline.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

  • Develop & Modernize: Design and code resilient backend microservices (Java) and dynamic frontend interfaces (Angular).
  • Architect Cloud Solutions: Build and deploy scalable solutions within an AWS ecosystem using containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/Gitlab).
  • Data Integration: Integrate complex relational and NoSQL databases, processing streams via Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
  • DevOps Collaboration: Participate actively in a mature Scrum environment, leveraging CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and collaboration (Jira/Confluence).

Requirements

Do you have experience in Stream Processing?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Citizenship/Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance (T3/NAC-LC).

  • Experience: 12+ years of total IT experience, including at least 7 years focused on Full Stack Application Development.
  • Backend Mastery: Strong Java development skills with experience in Java EE/Jakarta EE frameworks, such as Spring Boot.
  • Frontend Expertise: Proven experience building responsive user interfaces using Angular (TypeScript) and JavaScript.
  • APIs & Architecture: Deep understanding of microservices architecture and hands-on experience implementing/consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Database & Messaging: Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/Stream systems (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Kafka).
  • Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

  • Modern Tools: Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and prompt engineering.
  • Cloud & Containers: Hands-on engineering support for databases and apps in AWS or Azure, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience working with Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs (VA), or commercial logistics, supply-chain, or financial systems.
  • Automation: Scripting fluency in Python, Bash, Powershell, or Java to automate development tasks.
