Java Application Developer

Join our team as a Senior Java Application Developer in a remote, contract position. You will design, develop, and enhance complex software applications, focusing on integrating distributed applications with core banking platforms. This role requires expertise in software development, including deep knowledge of various programming languages and frameworks. Design, develop, and enhance complex software applications for mission-critical initiatives. Translate business and platform requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Collaborate with various teams to manage dependencies and meet delivery timelines. Operate with minimal supervision while exercising strong technical judgment. Engage in testing, debugging, and performance optimization across scalable systems., Design and optimize high-quality software applications meeting business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose solutions. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to best practices. Identify and resolve errors in application function efficiently. Lead small efforts and build strong relationships with team members and experts.

Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in application or software development. Advanced proficiency in software development principles and methodologies. Expertise in programming languages and frameworks with strong problem-solving skills. Experience with incident tracking, project management, and change control software.
