Job description

  • Configure, maintain and support the MES systems used in the production environment.
  • Maintain and manage MES-related master data to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Support production operations by handling unexpected system- or process-related incidents on the production line.
  • Design, implement and maintain rework processes and workflows within the MES system.
  • Support the definition of new product manufacturing processes and continuously improve existing production flows.
  • Perform shopfloor data queries and support data analysis to improve transparency, efficiency and decision-making.
  • Contribute to system optimization and continuous improvement projects related to MES and manufacturing systems.
  • Work closely with production, engineering and IT teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and successful project execution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Manufacturing?, * Completed vocational training or university studies in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a comparable field.

  • More than two years of professional experience in manufacturing IT, MES systems or production-related system support.
  • Solid understanding of MES systems and production processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with system configuration, data maintenance and process workflow setup.
  • Ability to analyze production incidents, identify root causes and support effective corrective actions.
  • Basic experience in data querying and analysis to support production and improvement initiatives.
  • Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a production environment.
  • Very good English skills, both spoken and written. German knowledge is a plus.
  • Chinese language skills are considered a strong advantage.
