A day in the life…
Performs hands-on systems analysis supporting accounting and finance operations, ensuring reliable, well-controlled, and scalable system processes. Triages, prioritizes, and resolves complex operational issues, include data and data flow issues, conducts root-cause analysis and solution design, and partners with Accounting, Finance, Data, and Engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system outcomes. Contributes to standards for analysis, documentation, and controls, serves as a technical resource to peers, and drives continuous improvement, automation, and system enhancements to support close cycles, audits, and evolving business needs.
- Perform systems analysis supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, providing functional expertise and recommending solution designs aligned to accounting policy and operational needs.
- Analyze integrations and upstream/downstream dependencies, documenting current-state processes, identifying gaps, and delivering scalable improvements.
- Serve as a hands-on subject-matter expert for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, performing analysis and validation to ensure end-to-end financial integrity.
- Contribute to production support operating models by authoring SOPs, job aids, and playbooks, supporting SLAs, and maintaining effective stakeholder communications.
- Embed strong financial controls through reconciliation design, exception handling, monitoring, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and preventative root-cause analysis.
- Participate in intake triage, backlog prioritization, governance, and release planning, balancing production support with strategic enhancements and data integrity objectives., Provide CTI-wide delivery enablement and project management support, coach teams on best practices, improve use of tools (Wrike/JIRA), and support Product & Pricing Salesforce delivery including planning, testing, and coordination. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance or related field or equivalent work experience.[SR1]
- 10+ years of business analysis experience in Finance/Accounting operations or Finance Systems.
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A proven independent thinking self-starter with the ability to thrive in a close-knit, fast paced team environment built on collaboration and accountability.
- Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP/Financials or similar Financial systems ([SR2] implementation, optimization, or production support).
- Strong understanding of accounting operations and close processes; ability to translate accounting needs into system requirements.
