Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Application Security Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH/ Cincinnati, OH/ Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate is responsible for implementing and managing Claude-based security scans, supporting pipeline integration, and driving application security initiatives across environments., * Configure and execute Claude security scans to identify and mitigate application vulnerabilities.

• Design and implement automation pipelines (e.g., GitLab) to integrate Claude security scanning into CI/CD workflows.
• Support onboarding and integration of security tools, including firewall, ASPM, and patch management products.
• Assist with system integration, policy configuration, and creation of technical and training documentation.
• Provide support for Application Vulnerability Response (AppVR) and related security operations.
• Contribute to cloud monitoring and Prisma migration activities, ensuring secure and compliant deployments., The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of experience in application security, software development, or security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with application security tools, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab), and integration of security scanning solutions like Claude.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C, with a solid understanding of secure coding practices and application security frameworks.

Rate Range: $47/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
