Job description

We are seeking an Application Programmer to design, develop, and test enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be a hands-on Java developer with experience in a full-stack environment, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle within an Agile framework. This role involves performance tuning, code optimization, and working with a modern technology stack to deliver robust solutions., * Design, develop, and test real-world, enterprise applications.

  • Utilize SVN, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar for continuous integration and code quality.
  • Perform performance tuning and code optimization to ensure application efficiency.
  • Follow Scrum and Agile best practices in a team-oriented environment.
  • Develop and consume web services using SOAP or REST.
  • Develop complex queries using native SQL or HQL with JPA / Hibernate.
  • Manage infrastructure components for web applications, including web servers and application servers.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design, and testing.
  • Proficiency with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring RESTful services.
  • Experience with JPA / Hibernate for database interaction.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript tools such as NodeJS, NPM, Jasmine, and Karma.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Javascript functional programming and object-oriented techniques.
  • Web UI development experience with technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap.
  • Unix shell scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica or SSIS.
  • Knowledge of AutoSys, Hadoop, or S3.
