Requirements

10+ years of experience in Mainframe Architecture, Solution Architecture, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise with COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, JCL, VSAM, MQ, z/OS, batch processing, scheduling tools, storage, security, automation, monitoring, and capacity management.
Experience designing end-to-end mainframe application and infrastructure solutions.
Proven experience in mainframe modernization, optimization, performance tuning, workload management, disaster recovery, and cost optimization (MIPS reduction).
Ability to assess existing environments and recommend modernization, automation, resiliency, and cost-efficient solutions.
Experience creating architecture designs, implementation plans, solution roadmaps, estimates, and client-facing technical recommendations.
Strong knowledge of IT Operations Management (ITOM), including incident, change, problem, configuration, monitoring, and service management.
Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, operations, security, and cloud teams.
Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills., * Experience with mainframe modernization (rehost, refactor, API enablement, DevOps, hybrid cloud).
Knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, service mapping, event management, and operational analytics.
Mainframe, cloud, or architecture certifications are a plus.
