Job description
The responsibilities of a system administrator include installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks; monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues; ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls; upgrading systems with new releases and models; developing expertise to train staff on new technologies; building an Internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users and will report directly to the Task Manager., Required:
- Daily use of Global Command and Control System - Joint and Agile Client
- Communication Channel Management.
- Track Management
- GCCS Troubleshooting
- Data Parser usage
- Blue Force Tracking data routing and troubleshooting*
- Use a family of systems to create COP pictures such as Palantir/GAIA, AIDE/ARES, TRAX*
- Train COP and Command members on the proper use of the COP*
- Position is 24/7/365 consisting of rotating shifts*

Desired:
- CompTIA Security Plus (+) Certification desired
- Preferred qualifications include experience supporting the Standard Procurement Systems (SPS) software suite.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
