Senior Data Scientist I

• Build models, perform analytics, create AI features. Work across coding languages used in Data Science (e.g. Python, SQL, Java, R, and/or Scala) and choose the right coding language to implement the solution to answer the business questions. Serve as a domain expert in Data Science and/or Statistical Analyses to build advanced models and roll into production and execute team’s Data Science best practices. Scope out and execute new statistical steps with support/approval from senior contacts. Summarize and communicate conclusions and solutions to analytic and non-analytic stakeholders. Offer mentor support to more junior Data Scientist. Perform other duties as needed.

Do you have experience in Software coding?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required.

• 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

• Also required is: 1 year of experience: programming in Python or R; using imperative programming languages, such as Java; using Cloud technologies, including Azure Databricks, AWS Sagemaker, and GCP; working with messy data and joining disparate datasets; and understanding appropriate machine learning methodologies to apply to problem.
• Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.
