Job description

D9Tech Resources is hiring a network-focused Systems / Mission Systems Engineer (C5ISR) to support cleared Federal and Department of Defense missions, working fully remote within the continental United States. The selected engineer owns outcomes from initial design through long-term sustainment, moving fluidly across systems integration, configuration management, and enterprise network architecture while helping build, secure, and authorize mission systems on AWS and across the broader enterprise. Security and compliance are built in from day one, so RMF and ATO discipline, least privilege, and documented, repeatable delivery all matter here. This billet is filled from D9Tech’s vetted, cleared engineering bench.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver hands-on C5ISR systems and mission systems engineering on cleared Federal and DoD programs, owning results from design through sustainment.
  • Stand up and maintain network interfaces and subnets, update route tables, and keep traffic flowing cleanly across the environment.
  • Apply daily depth across systems integration, configuration management, and enterprise network architecture.
  • Build security and compliance in from the start, applying RMF and ATO discipline, least privilege, and repeatable, well-documented delivery.
  • Work alongside the cleared engineering team and mission owners to keep systems secure, available, and authorized.

Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) * 5 to 10 Years Experience * Remote (CONUS), * Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant, hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise across systems integration, configuration management, and enterprise network architecture.
  • VMware.
  • CompTIA Security+ (Sec+ CE), satisfying IAT Level II.
  • Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, and DoDAF.
  • Ability to work fully remote within CONUS. Mission-Critical Experience This is a network engineering seat first, so the following hands-on experience is essential, not optional:

  • Palo Alto. Direct, hands-on experience configuring and operating Palo Alto, including standing up network interfaces and subnets, updating route tables, and similar enterprise network work., * AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate (SAA-C03).
  • DISA STIGs.
  • DoD RMF.
