Job description

The IT Operations Manager (Labs) is part of the Digital Customer Operations Team. The mission of Digital Customer Operations is to deliver reliable, customer-focused IT support that empowers every user with the technology and tools needed to do their job with confidence. As an IT Operations Manager (Labs) you will be the point of contact between Labs and Digital Customer Operations. The IT Operations Manager (Labs) will be consulted on all IT related changes across the labs, to coordinate and manage changes from an IT perspective. The IT Operations Manager (Labs) will work closely with the End User Services team, as well as Networks and Core IT teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field is preferred, with relevant experience across end user support / networks / labs support
  • Experience in overseeing IT projects
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple IT projects and prioritize effectively
  • Good technical background across end user services, networks, labs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Relationship management is a key aspect of this role, being a trusted IT point of contact for Labs
  • Position will require up to 50% travel.
  • Proactive and adaptable, gaining a deep understanding of the business operations of the labs, to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions where business needs are met
