Job description
We’re looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join our Mobile App Team within our Digital area. Its an exciting time to join with ambitious plans you will have a real opportunity to help shape the test journey and contribute to a truly collaborative, engaged team. Working closely with delivery teams, you’ll help shape test strategy early, improve our automation and regression capability, and provide clear insight on quality, risks and readiness-supporting our Purpose to help build financial resilience, move fairly to a sustainable world, and strengthen the mutual choice for customers. About the role
- Analyse functional and non-functional requirements to define test conditions, test scenarios and coverage.
- Create and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases and outcomes.
- Design, build and execute manual and automated tests, including reusable regression packs.
- Record, triage and manage defects through to resolution, providing clear evidence.
- Report on progress, quality, risks and readiness using agreed metrics and standards.
- Support and mentor Test Analysts, sharing good practice and helping embed continuous improvement across the team.
- Experience of automated test tools such as Ready API or Perfecto would be helpful though not essential.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing across the delivery lifecycle, including early test design and shift-left practices.
- A positive, collaborative attitude where you appreciate that good work is a team effort.
- Strong understanding of testing techniques for functional and non-functional testing (e.g., performance, usability, reliability).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and an ability to identify where automation adds the most value.
- Coaching or mentoring experience.
- A mindset of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
