Job description
Position Summary: Position supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX), Program, Planning and Control (PP&C) office on-site at the Kennedy Space Center. The successful candidate will support the Program through the development and implementation of Systems Engineering Processes and Analysis efforts for multiple projects with equal responsibility as Cradle Administrator & Junior Software Developer for the program., * Manage Cradle database including creating new objects and populating fields such as requirement text and rationale, verification methods, Detailed Verification Objectives (DVO), Stakeholder Expectations, Detailed Validation Objectives (DVaO), schedule items (for event planning), change notices, and objective evidence.
- Audit information in Cradle and identifying gaps/issues; tracks to resolve discrepancies and coordinates with systems engineers and management.
- Provide Monthly Technical Baseline Reports as well as any major milestone reviews.
- Conduct training for users on how to create new objects, populate object fields, modify views, and output files to meet their needs during design, readiness reviews, system checks, etc.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess database and systems analyst experience. Experience in database administration: demonstrating the ability to plan, execute, and maintain activities associated with relational database architecture and problem resolution.
- Candidate must possess the ability to develop detailed plans and engineering processes.
- Candidate must possess strong communication skills, including the ability to develop general concepts into an actionable plan.
- Advanced computer skills with the ability to navigate the various software functions, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, SharePoint or other collaborative application framework, and use the internet., * Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate concepts and procedures clearly and in an easily understood language.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- High attention to detail and demonstrated follow-through on products.
- Ability to spend long periods in front of a computer terminal.
- Ability to work as required to complete assignments per predefined schedule.
- Ability to multi-task in changing dynamic environment.
- Experience with .NET, Entity Framework, C#, MSSQL, Angular, FullStack, and PrimeNg
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Github
Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA / BS).
- 2 or more years of applicable experience.
