Julia Elliott shapes how Expedia Group builds software. As VP of Technology and Chief of Staff to the CTO, she guides the engineering organization’s operating rhythm and AI adoption, including launching their new San Jose AI hub.
She previously spent ten years at Google, where she led strategy and operations for Developer X. Today, she focuses on how AI tools and agentic systems actually change the software development lifecycle in practice, moving beyond adoption metrics to measure real business impact.
She holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
