Michael Hunger

Michael Hunger builds software and runs product innovation at Neo4j. For the past 14 years, he has helped shape the open-source graph database, taking on various roles and currently heading up Neo4j Labs.

His work focuses heavily on the practical side of AI and data. He frequently teaches developers how to build AI integrations using the Model Context Protocol and explores how to ground large language models through knowledge graphs and vector search.

When he is not contributing to open-source projects, Michael runs weekly girls-only coding classes at local schools.
