Ulrich Irnich

Ulrich Irnich guides telecom companies through massive IT transitions. During his time as CIO of Vodafone Germany, he directed the shift toward modern, customer-focused tech operations across the business.

Before Vodafone, Ulrich led agile shifts at Unitymedia and simplified legacy architecture at Telefónica. He cares about stripping away technical bloat so systems actually serve people, a mindset that anchors his approach to innovation and purpose-driven leadership.

With a background in electrical engineering, Ulrich spends his time away from the keyboard running marathons and cycling.
