Vera Futorjanski builds businesses and connects global tech communities. She runs the advisory firm Veritas Ventures and founded Beyond, a network for female leaders. She also invests actively, serving as an LP for an African venture fund.
Before launching her own companies, Vera directed Middle East operations for 500Global and ran projects at the Dubai Future Foundation. She looks closely at how digital systems shape society, exploring this in her talk on technology’s impact on democracy.
An active startup mentor and UN advisor, Vera has lived in 10 different countries and speaks five languages.
