Backend heavy Fullstack Engineer in Startup
Role details

Job description
- Build and maintain backend services in Node.js + TypeScript (REST APIs, background jobs, integrations).
- Own data flows and reliability: queues, retries, rate limits, caching, and performance.
- Design and implement database models and migrations, and keep systems observable (logs, metrics, alerting).
- Ship product features end-to-end, including React UI work when needed.
- Debug production issues fast, write post-mortems, and harden the system so it does not happen again.
- Collaborate closely with product and CX to understand the “why” and turn it into working software.
Requirements
We’re a real startup, not a playground. Bootstrapped and fast-growing.
Our motto: Move fast, break things. Chatarmin to the moon.
We build for e-commerce brands in the B2B SaaS space. High pace, high expectations, zero corporate nonsense. We're here to win and so should you be.
We’re looking for a backend-heavy fullstack engineer who can own critical systems end-to-end: APIs, infra-ish backend work, and the React UI that ships the feature.
You should thrive under pressure, work autonomously, and have a hands-on attitude. Think like an athlete: disciplined, self-motivated, and pushing through when it gets tough.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience shipping production software as a backend or fullstack engineer.
- Strong Node.js + TypeScript skills, and solid fundamentals (async, concurrency, networking, API design).
- Experience with common backend building blocks: relational or document DBs, Redis/caching, queues, background workers, third-party integrations.
- Comfortable in React (and modern frontend tooling) to build and maintain product UI.
- Pragmatic engineering mindset: you care about reliability, debuggability, and shipping.
- You take ownership, communicate clearly, and do not need babysitting.
Benefits & conditions
- Young, highly motivated team with zero ego.
- Speed over politics: if you have an idea, run with it.
- Direct impact on the company and the product.
- Real growth opportunities. We promote from within.
- Earn what you’re worth: good base pay + performance upside. Your output defines your income.
