Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for REST APIs and UI applications.
- Create Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases for functional and automation testing.
- Implement BDD workflows using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Execute functional, regression, and smoke testing across multiple layers.
- Validate API contracts using OpenAPI / Swagger specifications.
- Use stubbing/mocking tools (e.g., WireMock) to simulate API behaviour and support isolated testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Product) to ensure end-to-end quality.
- Track and report testing progress using test management tools.
Requirements
Do you have experience in UI?, * 6-9 years of QA Automation experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java (mandatory).
- Proven experience in REST API automation using Rest-Assured.
- Proficiency in BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Experience in UI automation using Selenium + Cucumber.
- Good understanding of OpenAPI 3.0 / Swagger for API contract validation.
- Experience using stubbing/mocking frameworks such as WireMock or MockServer.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Optional: Experience with JavaScript for UI or API automation.
Essential skills:
- Experience in the banking domain.
- Ability to write and maintain tests in Playwright.
- Exposure to Ruby for UI automation.
