Embedded Software Lifecycle Engineer (80- 100%)

In this role, you will help ensure that our software runs reliably, efficiently, and sustainably - from deployment through maintenance and updates to continuous improvement.Your Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of productive software solutions through maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates

• Implement changes and releases, including testing, rollout, and backup strategies

• Support the entire software lifecycle - from deployment to decommissioning

• Maintain and enhance technical documentation such as requirement specifications, architecture and design documents, and test specifications

• Collaborate closely with development teams, business units, and external partners, especially in software, electronics, mechanics, and control systems

• Contribute to quality assurance measures, including system and acceptance testing

• Advise business units on optimal use and further development of systems

• Completed degree (UNI/FH/HF) with a focus on software, systems engineering, or electrical engineering

• Experience in software maintenance and lifecycle management

• Familiarity with version control and ticketing systems

• Hands-on experience developing embedded software in C++

• Analytical thinking and solution-oriented work style

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Good command of English, both written and spoken
