Job description
We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Futurice team in Germany. You'll take ownership of design workstreams, drive collaboration in cross-functional teams, and help clients move their digital products forward. You'll work closely with clients in industries such as automotive and energy, designing solutions that are both user-centered and business-relevant. You'll also explore and apply AI tools as sparring partners and co-creators in your design process, finding smarter ways to deliver impact. This role is about combining craft, consultancy, and curiosity: you'll design high-quality digital experiences, guide client discussions, and support your teammates in reaching common goals. What you will do Lead design workstreams within projects and ensure high-quality delivery on time. Explore and apply AI tools in the design process to ideate, iterate, and validate faster. Facilitate collaboration in cross-functional teams and workshops with clients. Conduct research and usability testing and turn findings into actionable design improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in User research?, Contribute to design systems and accessibility practices across solutions. Communicate with impact: present concepts, ideas, and rationale confidently in German and English to both clients and colleagues. Bring consultancy mindset: help identify client challenges, align solutions with business goals, and build trust with stakeholders. Mentor junior designers by sharing feedback and best practices.
What you bring 2-4 years of professional experience as a UX/UI, Interaction, or Product Designer. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design contributions in digital products or services. Proficiency in Figma and other modern prototyping tools. Hands-on experience with user research, testing, and design validation. Curiosity and first-hand experience with AI tools for ideation, design, and validation. Solid knowledge of design systems and accessibility best practices. Appreciation for a good communication with both the team and the clients. You are fluent in German and English. Interest or experience in the automotive sector (mobility, in-car experiences, connected services) and/or energy sector.
