Job description
Are you passionate about software engineering and excited to work with modern development tools in a global DAX40 company? Join our team and contribute to creating efficient, scalable developer tooling and test infrastructure. We are looking forward to your application!, * Shape the future : You will contribute to the development of the RTL2GDS Test Framework and support the creation of GitLab CI pipelines running static checks and RTL2GDS-specific tests
- Drive innovation : You will support the development of Visual Studio Code extensions to enable static analysis and improve developer efficiency
- Take responsibility : You will write, run, and improve unit and integration tests and help establish test coverage, quality gates, and test automation best practices by defining and implementing unit testing practices in TCL (using TCL test), including mocking, stubbing, and integration into CI workflows, * Working part-time : The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome : You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to the site : It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Visual Studio?, * Study field : You are currently studying Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience : You have gained initial experience working on real-world software projects, preferably including CI/CD workflows and testing
- Skills : You are proficient in Python or another object-oriented programming language, and familiar with unit and integration testing. Experience with Git and GitLab CI is a plus
- Interests: You are interested in developer tooling and enthusiastic about contributing to Visual Studio Code extensions (TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js)
- Way of working : You are structured, proactive and willing to learn new technologies, including TCL for testing purposes
- Language skills : You have very good English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus
