You'll make an impact by

• You begin by studying the current research and frameworks in distributed Large Language Models (LLMs), gaining an understanding of the existing landscape and identifying areas for your thesis focus
• Subsequently, you install and configure distributed LLM frameworks in testbed environments, ensuring they are set up to accurately measure network characteristics
• Following setup, you implement automated network configuration systems to streamline the process of testing various network conditions on LLM performance
• You then conduct comprehensive network traffic measurements, collecting data on how different network conditions affect LLM functionality and performance
• Finally, you evaluate the impact of these conditions, document your findings, and contribute insights towards optimizing edge AI deployments based on your research

• Education: You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on distributed systems or network engineering, + Experience in analyzing current research and frameworks in distributed Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Proficiency in installing and configuring distributed LLM frameworks in testbed environments
• Skilled in implementing automated network configuration systems and conducting comprehensive network traffic measurements

• Ways of Working: You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to document and interpret complex data effectively
• Languages: Fluent in English
