Senior Software Development Engineer

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, your technical expertise will help maintain, evolve, and innovate our modernization transformation tooling - with a strong focus on AWS Blu Age/AWS Transform and Generative AI programming.

In this role, you will not only deliver solutions but also develop new capabilities within our transformation engines, inspired by insights and patterns emerging from real-world migration projects. Your mission is to continually improve performance, automation, scalability, and accuracy - making our modernization tools faster, smarter, and more efficient., * Technical ownership of maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our core transformation tooling and frameworks.

• Design and implement innovative features for transformation engines, derived from lessons learned and challenges encountered in ongoing client migration projects.
• Apply Generative AI programming (LLMs, AI APIs, automation) to enable advanced code transformation, pattern recognition, smart documentation, and automated testing capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and migration specialists to align tooling improvements with delivery needs and client expectations.
• Ensure tooling performance and stability at enterprise scale while introducing automation that shortens delivery cycles.Contribute to standardization and industrialization of modernization products to support repeatable, highquality migrations across global engagements.

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• 5+ years in software development for enterprise systems.
• Proven AWS Blu Age project experience in mainframe or legacy migration.
• Hands-on Generative AI programming skills in applied enterprise scenarios (LLMs, AI-assisted code generation, migration automation).
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and extend transformation tooling with commercial impact.
• Strong programming capabilities in Java, COBOL (analysis), or equivalent enterprise languages.
• Agile/Scrum delivery exposure; global and cross-functional teamwork skills.
