As an Engineering Manager for Developer Experience (f/m/d) at Parloa, you will nurture and support a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing engineering productivity, quality, satisfaction, and system reliability. Your mission is to create a supportive and exceptional developer experience that empowers our engineering community to build, test, and deploy high-quality software together while ensuring the reliability and performance of our products. Through thoughtful tooling, automation, streamlined workflows, and SRE practices, you'll support engineers and foster an environment where everyone can create value while maintaining world-class system reliability., * Build and nurture a supportive team that harmonizes developer experience with site reliability engineering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create thoughtful roadmaps integrating developer tooling, automation, and SRE practices
- Work together to establish productivity and reliability metrics (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets) while supporting CI/CD excellence through GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
- Partner with engineers and engineering leaders to understand developer needs and create supportive solutions using our toolchain (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Foster a culture of shared excellence through collaborative practices, trust-based postmortems, and warm onboarding experiences
- Support the evolution of our observability practices using Datadog and help teams leverage AI tools thoughtfully
- Connect with security and platform teams to ensure our tools and practices support both velocity and reliability
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Experience supporting teams in developer experience, platform engineering, or site reliability
- Well-rounded technical background with understanding of our core technologies: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability (Datadog)
- Appreciation for SRE practices: SLI/SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and thoughtful testing approaches
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), API gateways, and building self-service platforms that empower teams
- Understanding of modern authentication systems and their integration into developer workflows
- Experience with Azure cloud platform and supporting teams through cloud transformations
- Warm communication skills and deep empathy for developer needs and experiences
- Commitment to building inclusive, supportive teams that nurture diverse talent and foster psychological safety
- Thoughtful, collaborative approach to balancing developer productivity with system reliability
- Appreciation for AI-assisted development tools and helping teams adopt them thoughtfully
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and distributed systems is valued
