Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Doctoral degree?, * Degree in automation engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field, complemented by either academic experience (PhD) or professional experience in automation engineering / process engineering, Industry 4.0 technologies, or industrial software engineering.
- Knowledge in Industrial automation technologies (e.g., Asset Administration Shell, OPC UA, AutomationML, IEC 61131-3, IEC 61499, etc.)
- Practical experience in software design and development (e.g., .NET, C++, Python, Java).
- Beneficial: You proven track record in publishing research results at conferences and/or journals.
- Interest in consortia and standardization activities related to automation, process engineering, Industry 4.0 / digital ecosystems, e.g., as part of ZVEI, Plattform Industrie 4.0, Industrial Digital Twin Association
- Beneficial: German language skills (allows easier participation in standardization activities in the automation domain in German speaking regions)
- Beneficial: Domain knowledge in process automation / process engineering
- Beneficial: Knowledge in edge (and cloud) technologies
- Beneficial: Experience in project management
