Senior Fullstack Engineer (TS/NodeJS/Vue)

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Nodes team at n8n, you'll help shape the foundation that powers every automation. Your focus will be on building, maintaining, and innovating on the core nodes that make n8n's workflow automation platform so powerful. You'll own features end-to-end, working across the stack and collaborating with Product and Design to enable teams to build high-quality, reliable integrations faster.

• VSCode-like experience in our Code node
• Human-in-the-loop step for workflow approvals
• Community node support in n8n Cloud
• AI data transformation node
• Data schema previews and smarter form nodes
• Workflow evaluation nodes, * Examples: developer tooling for node authors, a verification system for community nodes, improvements to core nodes that unlock new capabilities, and next phases of schema preview.
• Drive engineering quality initiatives, including reducing bugs, improving test coverage, and strengthening system resilience.
• Contribute to technical strategy, balancing innovation with reliability and making long-term architecture improvements.
• Mentor and support teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Build with a product mindset, evaluating trade-offs, prioritizing impact, and deeply caring about the end-user experience.

Do you have experience in Vue.js?, * 5+ years of full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React

• Proven experience building end-to-end features in a B2B SaaS startup environment
• Strong grasp of scalable backend architecture, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks
• Solid skills in debugging, testing, and quality assurance, with experience writing unit, integration, and e2e tests (Playwright, Jest, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize effectively, balancing shipping speed, quality, and impact
• Experience working closely with PMs, designers, and other stakeholders to make data-informed decisions and ship meaningful features
• A collaborative, low-ego mindset and a drive to move fast together
• Passion for clean code, shared ownership, and product impact
